Spring is finally happening! I'm doing my best to ignore the piles of dirty snow, because they're melting. We took a trip to a local greenhouse this past weekend, and Annabel got to wear her new twirly flower skirt that I made for the Sizzix Spring Fling Blog Hop.
We raided my pre-washed fabric stash and used four different Sizzix dies with Pellon® 805 Wonder-Under to fuse the flowers around the hem of the skirt. The free flat front skirt pattern can be found here. After finishing the machine appliqué I used Finca Perle cotton to stitch the details onto the flowers. I followed the score marks created by the dies.
